From September 8: Week 1 – Game Day Pick

We have seen 2 games in two days and it’s very clear to see that all 4 offenses were ready to play. Too bad these same teams couldn’t get their defense ready. The NFL draft told us this will be the year of the pass, and it certainly was on display the last 2 nights.

Today we love the Dolphins to start the season with a win at home over the Jaguars. They have too much speed and a better team. Since Mike McDaniel took over as HC, the Dolphins are 7 – 1 in September. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle will be on the outside catching balls, while Raheem Mostert and De’Von Achane will handle the running game. The Dolphins like to use a man in motion with all that speed and believe Tua will start the 2024 season in style.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are not a bad team. They will score points, just not enough to keep up with Miami. The weather will be hot and humid and it’s time to make the play. The Fins are favored by 3 and we will buy 1/2 a point to keep us under 3.

Miami has to win games like this by 7 to 14 points to be taken seriously.
