From September 15: Week 2

These next three weeks are the worst weeks to bet the NFL. They are full of adjustments, timing, injuries, and the realization that certain teams will make the playoffs and others who will not. Since we can’t wait three weeks, stick with a good team and you have an edge. It’s a long season with plenty of opportunities to cash in.

We are going with the Texans over the Bears this evening and the Eagles tomorrow night hosting Atlanta. Both teams are solid choices. Both teams are home and coming off a win and finally both teams are favored under a touchdown at 6 ½.

Houston made some good offseason moves to show their fans they’re ready to roll in the playoffs. The Eagles, who are always making moves roster moves, show they can be there too in January.

The Houston Texans are a good bet straight up. We are going to buy 1 point and lay – 130 and be at – 5 ½.

Tomorrow the Line is – 6 ½ , but let’s wait to see if AJ Brown is playing for the Eagles.
