From October 6: Week 5 – Pay Day is Here

It’s Sunday morning and all eyes are on the Jets vs Vikings this morning. While our eyes are on the TV, our hearts and money will be in Seattle, where the Seahawks are playing against the Giants. The New Giants could be the worst team in the league. They are 1 – 3 and at the bottom of the NFC East. Their defense is not good. The offense consists of Daniel Jones at QB and Malik Nabers at wide out. They have no running game.

The problem for the Giants is Malik won’t be playing today. In the first four games of the season. Daniel Jones is 91 – 144 in passing with 4 TDs. Three of those four TDs went to Nabers. Malik has caught 35 passes, which accounts for about 40% of Daniel Jones’s caught passes. The Giants as a team have only scored 60 points throughout the first four games. We just don’t see how this team can keep up with the Seahawks at home. They are on top of the NFC West with a record of 3 – 1.

The Seahawks only loss was on the road to the Lions, with 5 starting defensemen out. The line is – 7 and we believe in Geno Smith.

Our 2nd game will be tonight between the Steelers and the Cowboys. The game’s in Pittsburgh and it should be a good one. The Steelers are the better team. Both teams have injuries, however Dallas has more. Brandon Cooks is Micah Parsons are the big names for Dallas. This game will go down to the wire with the Steelers defense holding Dak and forcing a turnover. These two teams know each other very well. Dallas as usual has beaten two weaker teams, Cleveland (1 – 3) and the NY Giants (1 – 3). They have also lost to New Orleans and Baltimore.

Pittsburgh (3 – 1) is first in the AFC North with wins against Atlanta, Denver and the LA Chargers. They have allowed just 53 points the first four games, which leads the league. If you’re playing teasers, use this game to buy points and play the under. The betting line has Pittsburgh – 2 ½ point favorite. The money line is close to – 150. We expect a tight one. Get the value and buy 1 point. Dallas winning on the road against a better team has not happened in a long time.
