From January 26: Game Day Picks
The Boys out west like the Eagles and the Chiefs. Are they right? The early game in Philadelphia tells us it’s going to be a 1 score game, with the Eagles coming out on top by 6 or more. Cutting to the chase and looking at the numbers, the Eagles have the best players, are playing at home and have both better receivers and running backs.
Washington, on the other hand, does have the best QB, better Head Coach, and a very clutch Zach Ertz at Tight End. They need more than this to win the NFC Championship. The Line is – 6 for the Eagles. We suggest buying ½ a point to go to Philadelphia – 5 ½. You are now under 2 field goals and have the better team.
Now onto the game of the year. The Chiefs are favored at home by – 1 point. Let’s call this one a toss-up. Both teams were 8 – 0 this year at home. The game is in KC, and they have better coaches. The Chiefs also won 10 games by 7 or less and 6 of those were by 5 or less.
The matchup here seems to lean in favor of Buffalo. Buffalo has scored 525 points during the regular season. The Chiefs scored 385. To me that’s 140 points or 20 touchdowns more than KC. Each year it seems Buffalo loses to KC due to mistakes and turnovers. This time around the stage is set for them to finally win.
The storyline here is Buffalo. They appear ready to win the AFC Championship and scored 20 more TDs this season. If the game were being played in Buffalo, we know the line would be much higher. Our money is on Buffalo.
