From August 14: Week 1 – Vegas is Ready for Minnesota

We are going with the Raiders at home tonight. The line is – 4 1/2 and we prefer the money line. The Vikings are the better team. However, Kirk cousins is out with COVID. The team will not risk playing their star receiver Justin Jefferson or running back Dalvin Cook. The Raiders are home, happy, and have a new head coach as well as Davante Adams playing for them this year. The Raiders played in the Hall of Fame Game and are hungry to impress the home fans with a win coming out of the gate. The Vikings now have a new coach who is primarily an offensive-minded coach who spent 8 years with former coach Don Zimmer. This very good team will have to wait one more week.

The Money line is – 220 and we feel the outcome will be fine. The Raiders will have better back up players on the field tonight, as well as Wayne Newton singing the National Anthem.
