From August 27: NFL Preseason Week 3 – Fly, Ravens, Fly
How can the Commanders slow down the Ravens? The answer for today is: they can’t.
Baltimore is home against Washington. The Line is 4 ½ and – 208 if you prefer the money line. The Ravens are simply a better team. They will be testing their new running backs and receivers for speed, continuity and execution of the plays.
This will be the final game for many of the players tonight, as well as a dress rehearsal for the start of the 2022 – 2023 season in 12 days. Most of the league have their rosters set and the Ravens are very close.
John Harbaugh has been Baltimore’s head coach for 15 years, knows his team and coaches, and above all else, he likes to win. He has a 22 – 0 winning streak in preseason games and an elite QB in Lamar Jackson. Each year, Harbaugh is seeing Lamar get better. We predict him and the Ravens go very deep this year.
On the other side of the field, the Washington Commanders have serious holes to fill and, as such, we believe this will not be their year. With key injuries starting to mount up and Carson Wentz playing on what many feel will be his last team, we are going with the Ravens on the money line.
