From Dec. 28: Week 17 – A Blowout In The Making

Today, the Tennessee Titans are playing in Houston to get into the playoffs. They’re favored by – 6 points. The line might be 8, 9 or higher by kick off. The Houston Texans could be a complete no show for the game.

We came to this conclusion by looking at the Titans and their competition in the AFC. Let’s check it out below.

Baltimore Ravens (13 – 2) are the #1 seed. New England cannot catch them.

New England Patriots (12 – 3) are the #2 seed and play at home today against Miami at 1:00 PM. They will win, get the bye, and watch the wildcard from home.

Kansas City Chiefs (11- 4) are the # 3 seed and play at home today against the Chargers at 1:00 pm. Andy Reid will play “Watch the Score Board”, looking for a miracle in New England. The Chiefs are favored by 9 and should have an easy time at home against the dreadful Chargers (5 – 10). Simultaneously, Andy Reid will watch New England crush Miami and when he’s able to, he’ll take out his starters as soon as possible.

If the above teams play to form, the top 3 seeds will not change.

Houston Texans (10 – 5) are the #4 seed and play today at 4:25 PM against the Tennessee Titans. They also win the tie breaker against KC. The two teams played in Week 6, with the Texans winning 31 – 24. Houston also beat Tennessee 2 weeks ago without Derrick Henry, going 24 – 21.

Getting back to Andy Reid: Once the early games have been determined, he will then pull out his starters, DeAndre Hopkins, Kenny Stills, Will Fuller (who is out) Deshaun Watson their QB, and star tackle Laremy Tunsil. They all happen to be on the injury report as questionable.

Lastly, the Buffalo Bills, the AFC’s #5 seed, are locked in by all the tie breakers in the NFL.

The Bottom line is to watch the KC scores and NE scores very closely. The line – 6. Tennessee is coming in healthy and ready to play hard. Bill O’Brien would love to give his team a bye week to get healthy. Without his starters, the Titans win by 10 or more.

If you see New England and KC pulling ahead, get down on Tennessee, today’s hot team.
