From October 29: Week 8 – Our Turn

We are now in the best part of the season. We can identify every team and see which direction they’re headed. The betting lines have been adjusted to give us a real chance, and it’s time to send it in.

Our pick for the weekend is going to be the Detroit Lions. They are home against the Raiders and favored by – 8 points. The Lions have a 2 game lead in their division, and are going into a bye week. The Raiders have big problems on and off the field, and are no match for the surging Lions.

We like them straight up to win and cover. However, if we buy them down 1 ½ points to – 6 ½, they look even better at home favored less than a touchdown. The Chiefs are playing in Denver and the weather will be cold and snowy. With only one loss, KC are well aware they are up by 1 game in the AFC and should win this week and next week in Germany before going into their bye week.
