Last week, the Redskins allowed Orleans Dawkwa to run 75 yards off tackle for a TD and Kirk Cousin threw 3 ints. Eli was 10 – 28 and 132 yards and, thus, we lost. They failed and we failed. It happens when least expected. We took a minor hit and learned a good lesson. There are no $10 gold watches for sale.

Wild Card Weekend starts now in chilly LV. We’re at 49 degrees with a nip in the air. It feels colder but all and all a good day to watch NFL football. We’re going with Kansas City at home. The line is 8 and we’re buying 2 points.

Why the Chiefs?

They match up well, they’re home and have a better team. Alex Smith has a job to fight for next year and, at 33, is good for one more big contract. They have a running game, new offensive coordinator and perhaps rookie of the year as their runner.
