Week 2 – Time to step it up and PLAY

Normally we would have to wait 4 weeks but after week 1 there is a real situation for this upcoming week.

The Jets are going to Oakland and are in total disarray. They scored 12 points in Buffalo and looked awful. Josh McCown threw for 187 yards and 2 interceptions.

Oakland opened up in Tennessee and scored 26 points. With their QB Carr playing his first game since injuring his ankle last year and the addition of Marshawn Lynch looking very fresh, the Raiders are ready to rock the house this week. Their home opener with the Jets won’t be close. We feel that this week they can score 40 or more and the Jets offense will see little time on the field. The line opened up at -13 1/2 and we bought a half a point and look forward to watching the game.

We are going against our principal of wagering the first 4 weeks, but feel after watching both teams this week and following their off season moves, it is time to step out and we have. Oakland, who could have been in the Championship Game last year, is playing perhaps the worst team in the NFL.
